PIMB Retreat November 16th,2012

Mark your calendars! The annual PIMB Retreat will be held on Friday, November 16, 2012 from 2:30 - 6:30 PM at The University Club. The retreat is an opportunity to learn about the research being done by current PIMB students and faculty. The retreat will again open with two 30-minute talks given by selected PIMB students and followed by a keynote speaker TBA. The retreat will close with a student poster session and cocktail/hors d’oeurves hour. A finalized schedule and RSVP information will be distributed in the future.

We have two deadlines to submit your online application:

December 16th, 2011 is the early deadline. The Admissions/Recruiting Committee will screen these applications first and a decision to interview will be made in early January.

January 16th, 2012 is the late deadline. The Admissions/Recruiting Committee will screen these applications later and a decision to interview will be made in late January.

The retreat is an opportunity to learn about the research being done by current PIMB students and faculty. The retreat will again open with four 30-minute talks given by selected PIMB students and followed by a brief student poster session and cocktail hour. The retreat will close with dinner and keynote speaker, Dr. Linton Traub of the Department of Cell Biology & Physiology. A finalized schedule and RSVP information will be distributed in the coming weeks.
