Why I chose ISB:

I chose ISB because of the flexibility and interdisciplinary nature of the program. I am most interested in probing molecular interactions at the cellular level during homeostasis and transition to disease states to identify novel potential routes of therapeutic intervention – the ISB program allows me to pursue this goal in a collaborative environment that encourages taking a wider, systems view of biological problems and receive training to examine such problems through the lens of overlapping biomedical and computational data disciplines.

Hobbies:

Cooking, being outdoors, films and film criticism, historical scholarship (nuclear policy), building and tinkering with computer systems, game design
